Search engine optimization Goals

Google, and the other search engines understand words that relate to each other. For example, learn and training.   When you include related words to your keyword phrase in your articles, Google likes the content better.

L.S.I. Keywords

These related words to your keyword phrase are known as L.S.I.(Latent Semantic Index) keywords.  Google understands L.S.I. keywords.  When you enter a search term, related or similar meaning words are highlighted in the returned results.

Try entering a ~ and a keyword phrase in Google and make a note of the highlighted words.  You can use these words in your posts to increase indexing for your keyword phrase.

The Links Section

Delete all the Links that are created by default for your WordPress site.

Then, create a Link Category for one of your selected keyword phrases.

Then go to Google and type in your keyword.  Note the results that come up with related, bold, words.  Specifically look for listings from sites Google likes, such as Wikipedia.org or Youtube.com, that contain highlighted, related words.  Copy the URL for the link.

Go back to the Links section and create a new Link for the URL.  Use the related word, such as training in the name of the link.  Add the link to the Link Category you created above.

Repeat this process for all your keywords and keyword phrases.  Make a list of L.S.I. keywords and keep it visible as you are adding content.  These keywords will be used in posts, links, categories, and pages.

Finally, be sure to add the Links widget to the sidebar of your site and select the specific Link categories you have created to be displayed.
